About the Photographer
- Phil was born in Connecticut, grew up in rural New Hampshire, and currently lives in Rockford, Illinois. His passion for landscapes and nature developed at an early age and he continues to enjoy finding beauty in the simplicity of nature.
- In his work he concentrates on composition and lighting and looks to Thomas Mangelsen for inspiration.
- He shoots a Canon EOS SLR 35mm camera loaded with Kodak Professional UC film.
- All photo prints are signed, numbered, and free from digital enhancement.
About the Prints
- All photographic prints are produced from an original negative or scanned negative (for production longevity).
- Digital manipulation is never used on any print.
- Prints are produced on Fujifilm Crystal Archive or Kodak Professional photographic paper for long-lasting beauty.
- The artist personally signs all original prints and special or limited editions are also numbered.
- The artist will exclusively choose the mat and frame that best reflects his vision of the photograph. Your print will arrive professionally framed using acrylic glass resulting in a gallery-quality presentation and long archival life.
